Day 5 - Thursday 23rd November

We woke up in Portsmouth with the amazing view of Spinnaker tower directly above us!
And Myles treated us to bacon sandwiches for breakfast - given he only got back from the bar at 1.30am it was especially impressive!

Mike, Lee & Maggie as we left Portsmouth - cold, but at least the sun was shining... it wasn't to last...

The wind really got up on Thursday, with warnings of gale force 10 being broadcast by the coastguard. We put on a storm jib, and reefed the mainsail to be safe. We headed straight to our next port of call... The Hamble.
