Day 1 - Sunday 19th November
We arrived at Point Cottages, Cowes for an introductory meeting at 5pm on Sunday evening. I was pretty nervous I have to admit - was I about to discover what a huge mistake I'd made?!
It started off well though - I had a bedroom to myself with an en suite bathroom - lucky me!

There are 3 cottages, with 8 in my cottage - Mike, Myles, Tom, Nick, Helen, Lee & Maggi - let me introduce them...
Mike - from Yeovil, married with 2 children, previously a director at an aerospace company. Loves SuDoku puzzles and high winds!



Myles - from Hong Kong, although spent the last 4 years at school in Bournemouth, going to Manchester Uni in 2007 to study Economics and Finance. Loves eating and sleeping.

 

Tom - from Nantwich, spent the summer working in a cheese factory! Going to Durham Uni in 2007 to study Physics. Loves CHEESE!



Nick, from Boston, UsA going to study business at University in Rhode Island in 2007. Loves rum.


 

Helen, previously a lawyer in the construction industry - we can blame her for the Wembley stadium delay! Loves racing fast yachts and eating lots of food!


Lee, lives in Hythe. Finished working as an IT specialist in May 2006 and has been 'dabbling' in boats ever since. Loves pints of beer with his name written on them!

Maggi, girlfriend of Lee. Also finished working in May, and has been indulging her new love of sailing ever since. Also loves flying planes!
